Under the baton of Jakub Przybycień, our Europe Day 2025 concert celebrated Moldova’s European aspirations through music. After beginning with music by Beethoven, Bartók, and Enescu, we continued with an all-Beethoven second half: the 7th Symphony – widely-loved as one of Beethoven’s most vigorous and dramatic works – and last movement of the 9th Symphony, from which the European Hymn (‘Ode to Joy’) is taken.
