EUYO Summer Tour 2025 – Bolzano Festival Bozen
Our Bolzano rehearsal residency is a key part of every EUYO summer tour, providing us with the opportunity to welcome our second maestro and soloist and to intensively prepare the second programme. And here was the opening night for that programme in 2025: conducted by EUYO Music Director Iván Fischer, we performed Enescu’s Romanian Rhapsody No.1, Tchaikovsky’s legendary Violin Concerto with soloist Alina Ibragimova, and an all-Stravinsky second half.

The European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) is a youth orchestra whose members are selected from the 27 member states of the European Union. Founded in 1976, it has served as a bridge between Europe’s music academies and the professional music world for generations of young musicians. The EUYO is regarded as one of the finest youth orchestras in the world, praised for its “extraordinarily high standards” and for performing at major European festivals such as the BBC Proms, the Salzburg Festival, and Young Euro Classic.
