EUYO Summer Tour 2025 – Grafenegg Festival
We returned to our home of Grafenegg with our second Summer Tour programme, under the baton of EUYO Music Director Iván Fischer and as part of the Grafenegg Festival. The Festival is the classical music highlight of Grafenegg’s season, taking place over four summer weekends and featuring the finest orchestras, conductors and soloists in the world.
Our programme of Enescu, Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky was accompanied by a pre-concert talk by music critic, journalist and author Michael Stallknecht at 18:00 in the Castle Courtyard.

The European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) is a youth orchestra whose members are selected from the 27 member states of the European Union. Founded in 1976, it has served as a bridge between Europe’s music academies and the professional music world for generations of young musicians. The EUYO is regarded as one of the finest youth orchestras in the world, praised for its “extraordinarily high standards” and for performing at major European festivals such as the BBC Proms, the Salzburg Festival, and Young Euro Classic.
