Christina Mavridou was born in 2007 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

She started her violin studies at the age of five and three years later (2015) she was accepted at the Thessaloniki State Conservatory (TSC) with excellent reviews, and in June of 2024 she graduated from TSC with perfect score 10 and 1st prize under the quidance of her professor Yannis Kormpetis. Since the age of seven she has been composing music, some of which has been performed by the orchestras and ensembles. In 2025, she begins her Bachelor studies at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) under Andreas Janke.

Christina is a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO), the Thessaloniki State Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, MOYSA, and Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Young. She has performed in major venues and festivals such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Grafenegg Festival, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Bolzano Festival Bozen, Romanian Athenaeum, Mozarteum’s Wiener Saal, the Athens and Thessaloniki Concert Halls.

Christina made her solo debut at the age of 10 with the Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, returning as a soloist again two years later (aged 12). She has performed with the Thessaloniki State Conservatory Orchestra at the age of 16, and in October 2024 she appeared again as a soloist in Weimar, Germany, at the Stadtkirche St. Peter und Paul (aged 17). Over the years, she has been recognized with awards in several national and international competitions.

In 2021 she was selected by Maxim Vengerov to play in his masterclass, and she has also participated in masterclasses by Daniel Hope, Ingolf Turban, Ulf Hoelscher, Kirill Troussov, Noe Inui, Sibbi Bernhardsson, Almita Vamos, Ben Sayevich, Georgios Demertzis etc.

She has taken part in Lefkas Music Week Summer Festival (Greece, 2020 and 2021) and in the Holzhauser-Musiktage (Germany, 2022). In addition, she was also accepted with scholarship at the Meadowmount School of Music in the USA and studied with Janet Sung. In the summer of 2024, she was accepted with scholarship in AIMS Festival in Spain and studied with Simone Zgraggen. In addition, she has received scholarship from the Foundation for Education and European Culture (IPEP).
